Welcome to the midpoint of our series on overcrowding, examining how we got here and where we go next to find new solitude.
Those first four articles were heavy... Deep breaths everybody. Though I wanted to start by introducing the conceptual issues facing our favorite fisheries in the first 4 installments, my intentions aren’t to paint a picture that’s doom and gloom. My intention is instead aimed at how we might each reconsider our own personal fly fishing worlds.
If you’ve ever felt that your impact on your local fishery wasn’t quite sitting right with you, or just felt like breaking away from the establishment, the following articles in this series will shift gears into how to re-approach fly angling, and the new avenues it could take us.
